Appetising Draws In Senior Hurling and Football Championships

The draws for the County Senior Hurling and Football Championship took place in Walsh Park this evening.

There is a new format to this year’s competition. The twelve teams will play off in four groups of three with the top two teams in each group advancing to the quarter final stages of the competition. In an unexpected twist for this year’s competition, it was agreed by the clubs and the Board Officers that there would be no relegation in either senior hurling or football this year.
